Muskoka Pride is kicking off its 10th festival with a bit of pomp and pageantry.
This year the event will be recognized with the first-ever Muskoka Pride Parade running down Manitoba Street in Bracebridge. Representative Shawn Forth says they wanted to find a special way to celebrate a decade of Muskoka Pride festivities.
The annual Pride Picnic is moving from Annie Williams Park to Memorial Park in downtown Bracebridge. Forth says the plan is to bring more awareness to the iconic event by putting it front and centre in Muskoka.
