Police have released the names of those involved in the fatal crash on Highway 69 on Friday. A van hit head on with a car just south of the Pickerel River bridge around 1:00pm and then collided with a jeep. The driver of the car was 63-year-old Patrick O’Brian of Barrie was pronounced dead at the scene. A 56-year-old from Walsingham and a 40-year-old from Bayham were in the van and were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, a 13-year-old from Penetanguishene was in the Jeep and also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the driver of the Jeep, a 58-year-old from Barrie remains in serious condition in hospital. The investigation continues.
