An inmate who escaped the minimum security section of Beaver Creek has been captured safely.
According to the OPP, earlier this afternoon, the inmate wandered away from the prison. Reports to the MyMuskokaNow Newsroom suggested police were searching for him in the Matthiasville area. Police say the prisoner was captured with the help from a K9 unit without incident and returned to the prison.
