Gravenhurst arena renaming happens this Saturday

The arena in Gravenhurst gets officially named this weekend after the Town’s four time Paralympian and sledge hockey star Graeme Murray. Festivities happen Saturday between 11am and 4pm with the special dedication ceremony happening at 11:30am. There’ll be musical entertainment and sledge hockey demonstrations to follow the ceremony. It’s all happening at 101 Centennial Drive in Gravenhurst. Murray has represented Canada at the 2002, 2006 and 2014 Paralympic Games and has helped Team Canada win the first Paralympic gold medal in 2006 and a bronze in Sochi, Russia.
