Swift River Energy is changing its blasting schedule at the construction site of the hydroelectric dam project. Daily blasting times originally scheduled to start at nine in the morning have been moved to 11. Afternoon blasting scheduled for six each day will stay the same. Muskoka Road 169 will be closed in both directions for about 30 minutes during each blasting session.
The daily blasting won’t happen on Sundays and officials don’t have a completion date at this point.
