A Bracebridge man is dead after his snowmobile went through the ice.
OPP and firefighters from Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes were called to Bowyers Beach Thursday night after getting reports of the incident. Fire officials worked together to try and save the man. Police say the 78-year-old died before emergency crews could get to him.
No other details have been released at this time.
