If you’ve ever considered being a firefighter, now could be your chance. The Town of Gravenhurst will be commencing its annual recruitment efforts to help fill ranks.
According to Fire Cheif Larry Brassard, the town will be adding approximately 10 firefighters to the station. People in cottage country who are over the age of 18, in good physical condition and have a passion to serve their community are being encouraged to apply.
It’s said that the department provides full training, equipment, uniforms, and insurance coverage to get successful candidates on their way in the force.
