Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary looking for donations after rain storm washed section of fencing and roads

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary is asking the public for help with donations after torrential rain washed out a section of fencing for their coyote pen. Recently, staff and volunteers helped to put up temporary netting for eight orphaned coyotes after fencing collapsed. No coyotes escaped or were injured; however roads were washed out during the storm.  Staff are hoping the public can help supply gravel and large culverts to repair the roads. They are also looking for volunteers to help with the repairs. For more information, call Julie Woodyer at 416-451-5976.
