Spring thaw means reduced load limits in Bracebridge

The upcoming spring thaw will have reduced load limits on municipal roadways in Bracebridge.

Starting March 12th at 12:01 a.m. the Town of Bracebridge will be enforcing its annual reduced load limit to prevent damage from heavy vehicles to roads during the spring melt.

The main purpose is to increase the lifespan and longevity of Bracebridge roads.

The reduced load limit is expected to be lifted on May 31st at 11:59 p.m.
