You can soon work out, outdoors, in Dorset

Residents and visitors to Dorset will be able to work out, outside this summer.

The Dorset Lions Club will be building phase two of its Centennial Park project.

This phase calls for the installation of outdoor exercise equipment and a walking track.

Lions Club Past President Chris Keene says he was at Algonquin Highlands council this morning asking for $2,500.

Keene adds anyone wanting to get in a work out can do so for free.

Keene also says he hopes the equipment will be installed on July 1st and ready for use.

The Dorset Lions Club also received $25,000 towards the re-development of Centennial Park from a federal grant under the New Horizons Program for Seniors.

The grant is for any initiative that supports active and healthy living for seniors, but Keene insists the equipment is for all residents and visitors.
