A walk to support families in need has raised big funds for a Muskoka organization.
Coldest Night of the Year was held in Huntsville last weekend in support of the Table Soup Kitchen Foundation. Over 100 walkers joined in to help raise nearly $20,000 in donations. Table Soup CEO Heather Berg says she was amazed to see how many people got involved to show their support.
Berg says the money will be used to help fund various programs run by Table Soup including the food bank, community kitchen and men’s hostel.
