Drug bust in Bracebridge nets police $20,000 in cash and narcotics

Numerous narcotics won’t hit the streets following a drug bust in Bracebridge.

Armed with a search warrant, officers from the Bracebridge OPP Street Crime Unit raided a Manitoba Street location on Friday, February 23rd  netting a combination of drugs and cash.

In total, $10,000 worth of multiple drugs were seized including cocaine, morphine, hydromorphone contin, methadone, and marijuana, as well as $10,000 in cash

Facing five counts each of numerous drug possession and trafficking charges are a 60-year-old Bracebridge woman and a 49-year-old Bracebridge man.

Both will be facing a bail hearing in Newmarket.

A 39-year-old Bracebridge man was also arrested at the scene because of an outstanding warrant.
