The Table Soup Kitchen Foundation in Huntsville is in desperate need of funds. CEO Heather Berg says this year hasn’t been great financially.

The stats on how many residents need to use a food bank in Huntsville are staggering. Berg says in 2013, The Table serviced 10.3 per cent of Huntsville’s population.

The Table is in critical needs of funds to help them keep going. Berg says The Table is very aware of not asking for financial assistance on a consistent basis.

Berg says they need new donors and previous donors to show their support again. She says she is grateful for such a giving community and hopes The Table can get the help it needs to keep going. The Table is putting out a challenge to residents and their sponsors to donate.
