The Greavette AE Midget Bears are representing Muskoka on the international level.
The South Muskoka Bears minor hockey team is heading to Pelham tomorrow to compete in the 2018 International Silver Stick Finals. South Muskoka Association President Bryce Davidson says this is one of the most prestigious tournaments a minor hockey team can play in.
Teams will be coming from across North America to play in the finals.
The AE Midget Bears was the only Muskoka minor hockey team to qualify for this competition during the regional tournaments held in December. Davidson says this is the first time in a few years a Bears team has qualified. The tournament runs until Sunday.
