A Bracebridge man accused of murder is heading to pre-trial.
Bryan Boland will be appearing in Newmarket for a pre-trial hearing on January 16th. Pre-trial hearings are often used to review evidence and witness testimonies before a trial date is set. Court officials say the case was moved to Newmarket just for the pre-trial hearing but were not able to give a reason why.
Boland was arrested last May after the body of his wife was discovered in their driveway on Wellington Street. He was charged with first-degree murder and has been behind bars since.
There’s no word on when Boland’s case could head to trial.
