A shrine made for Korbin South

Flowers, little cars and stuffed toys decorate a spot at the Burk’s Falls Welcome Centre as a shrine to Korbin South. The seven-year-old’s body was found yesterday in the Magnetawan River after three days of searching. He fell into the river, while playing with other kids Sunday evening and was swept away by the current. The little shrine has a couple of photographs of Korbin and even a message from a classmate. Social media has been filled with messages of condolences and prayers for Korbin’s family. Details of his funeral have not been released at this time.
