The OPP in Muskoka is keeping watch for impaired drivers this holiday season

With the holiday season quickly approaching, the OPP is launching another year of the Festive RIDE campaign.

The campaign targeting impaired drivers will run through the holidays until January 2nd.

Constable Philippe Regamey says impaired drivers who are caught by police can face hefty penalties.

If you’re going to be drinking, plan for a safe ride home by having a designated driver, taking a taxi, or staying overnight.
