You can keep track of snowplows on provincial highways in Muskoka this winter.
The province is rolling out Track My Plow for the Carillion winter contract services in the area. The service will track GPS units in the plows to offer real-time updates on where they are on Highway 400 and Highway 11.
Provincial officials are also using Ontario511 to give a road forecast up to 12 hours ahead of time. You can also keep up to date on all road conditions in Muskoka on MyMuskokaNow and by listening to Moose FM.
