Moose FM is giving you the chance to make a difference in your community.
Friday is the annual 99.5 Moose FM Hospital Radiothon in support of the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation. This year, the Moose team will be raising money for some necessary equipment upgrades at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital.
Foundation Executive Director Colin Miller says the hospital needs to buy two new patient defibrillators costing just over $13,000 each.
Last year Moose FM was able to raise nearly $25,000 and this year organizers are hoping to break that record. To make a donation you can call 705-645-2218 or visit the pledge website.
The Radiothon runs from 6am to 6pm.
