Vehicle search in Muskoka leads to arrest after $3,200 worth of opioids discovered

Police in Muskoka are working to get dangerous opioids off the streets.

On Monday, Bracebridge OPP officers pulled over a driver on Highway 11 near Sparrow Lake Route D. Officers searched the vehicle and found what they suspected were fentanyl patches and oxycodone pills. Officials say the street value of these drugs is about $3,200.

A 25-year-old Bracebridge woman was arrested under trafficking charges. She’ll be in court for a bail hearing today.
