The Great Muskoka Paddling Experience gears up for its 7th run

Muskoka is gearing up for the last great water adventure of the season.
The Great Muskoka Paddling Experience will be running for the seventh year in Bracebridge. The event, which is sanctioned by the Ontario Marathon Canoe and Kayak Racing Association, will be running on October 7th. As a tribute to Canada’s 150th, organizers are bringing in 10 North Canoes for a special 8.4-kilometer race. A North Canoe can hold up to 10 paddlers. Registration for that race has closed, but there’s still time to get your name in for the rest of the canoe and kayak races. Last year the event had over 300 racers involved. All funds raised from registration will go to the Muskoka Watershed Council, the Muskoka Paddle Club and Friends of the Muskoka Watershed. You can find out how to register here.
