Your Smile Cookie can help put money back into a local community centre in Gravenhurst.
Starting next Monday, Tim Hortons will be kicking off the dollar cookie campaign with all funds going to local charities. The two locations in Gravenhurst will be donating funds to the Ryde Community Co-op. Community Centre President Judy Campbell says the roof is one of the repair projects they’re hoping to take on with this money.
Campbell says the roof project is expected to cost somewhere around $50,000. The building was purchased from the Trillium Lakelands District School Board in early 2016 by a group of local residents.
