Your former grade eight student is getting some help transitioning to high school in Muskoka.
This week, schools across Muskoka will be running orientation days for the new grade nine arrivals.
Gravenhurst High School and St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School will be welcoming students Wednesday morning for orientation. On Thursday, Huntsville High School and Bracebridge Muskoka Lakes Secondary School will be running similar grade nine orientation sessions. BMLSS is also holding a special Fun Day for all students next Tuesday with shortened classes and a BBQ.
Here is a list of all orientation times and dates:
- GHS Link Crew Grade Nine Orientation, Wednesday 8:30am to 1pm
- St. Dominic CSS Grade Nine Orientation, Wednesday 9am to 2pm
- BMLSS Link Crew Grade Nine Orientation, Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm
- HHS Link Crew Grade Nine Orientation, Thursday 8:30am to 1:30pm
- BMLSS Fun Day, shortened classes and welcome BBQ for all students (the school day hours will stay the same), Sept. 4
