Officials say the water is safe to use at Gull Lake Beach

You can jump back in the water at Gull Lake in Gravenhurst.
The town has reopened the beach following an investigation by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. The beach was closed on Friday after town officials discovered an unknown substance had been spilled in the water. An earlier test by the local health unit showed E. Coli was not a concern. The ministry has also reported back with no concerns after running its own test on the water. Life guard services at the beach will end on September 3rd.
