The number of motorcycle collisions in August is a concern for police.
OPP officials say over the past few weeks there have been a number of collisions causing serious injuries and in some cases killing riders. Police want to remind both motorcyclists and other drivers on how to stay safe on the roads. Constable Mo Tilson says motorists need to remember to keep an eye out for these smaller vehicles.
She says motorcyclists also need to remember to wear proper gear. She says a helmet could end up saving your life if you’re in a collision.
