The St. John Ambulance flag is flying high to commemorate 76 years of community service.
On Monday, the St. John Barrie Simcoe Muskoka Branch manager and volunteers joined the deputy in raising the St. John Ambulance flag in Bracebridge.
Deputy Major Rick Maloney says the ongoing efforts of the local volunteers make the community a safer place.
St. John Ambulance is highlighting over 9,500 volunteer hours from medical first responders and the training of over 320 resident in CPR.
