Innisfil man charged with assault in Parry Sound

A man from Innisfil faces two assault charges including one from here in Parry Sound.  West Parry Sound OPP contacted South Simcoe police July 9th about a woman from Innisfil who said she had been assaulted by her common-law husband while in Parry Sound the previous weekend.  Officers from South Simcoe helped the OPP find the man and after an investigation, learned he had also committed an assault in Innisfil.  The 47-year-old man faces two counts of assault and will face those charges next month.
