Two schools in Bracebridge are being awarded for their social media skills.
On Friday, Macaulay Public School and Bracebridge Public School were each given a new customized bike rack.
In connection to the Walk N’ Roll event, organizer Derek Berkhout says both these schools did an amazing job advertising the event on social media.
Berkhout says all the schools participating in the second run of Walk N’ Roll this year will have another opportunity to win bike racks again by getting savvy on social media.
Walk N’ Roll is a safety awareness and active transportation campaign run between the Town of Bracebridge and the TLDSB to get kids outside and active.
The second event will run on May 10th in Bracebridge.
