Meteorologist says Frost Quakes are likely with extreme colder temperatures this week

The quick freeze coming later this week in Muskoka could bring some interesting sounds to the district.
Following a significant rainfall, the weather is expected to change over to freezing rain and then snow by tonight into tomorrow.
With extremely colder temperatures coming Thursday and running into Saturday, Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says that could cause frost quakes.
These freezing temperatures could get into the mid-minus twenties by Saturday morning.
But, Coulson says moving into Sunday we’re likely to see more seasonal temperatures once again.
