TheĀ goal to bring commercial air service to Muskoka by this summer is still thriving.
Explorers’ Edge met with the district Planning and Economic Development Committee last week to provide an update on this project.
Executive Director James Murphy says the discussions have been ongoing with various airliners and there is one sticking point that has presented itself.
Murphy says this is nothing new to his team, and they are prepared to meet this issue head on.
He says he hopes to be coming back in the next couple of months with another update for the committee driving towards a deal with one of the airline companies.
