Muskoka may not be seeing a traditional Dead of Winter point for 2017.
Dead of Winter refers to the coldest expected winter day based on historical data.
While we usually expect this point to hit by mid-January in Muskoka, Meteorologist Geoff Coulson says that won’t be the case this year.
Coulson says that milder trend will likely continue into February and March, however he says its hard to tell if we’ll be seeing an earlier than usual spring.
