The District of Muskoka is arranging a special waste collection day today in Huntsville. Some homes were missed during yesterday’s regular pickup because of winter weather. The district says the slippery road conditions made it unsafe for the workers.
Anyone who didn’t have their garbage picked up can leave it on the curb for collection today. The following areas were affected:
- South Waseosa Lake Road Area
(North Fox Lake Road, Granite Drive, Mineral Springs, Parsons Lane, Breisacher Road, Old Centurion, Hoodstown Shores and Hoodstown Road) - Hidden Valley Area
(Valley Drive, Lakeview Crescent, Chalet Cresecent) - Williamsport Extension
- Harp Lake
The district is also asking anyone with questions about missed collections to call Muskoka Public Works at (705) 645-6764.
