Cranberry Ice Trail looks to benefit Habitat for Humanity following weekend opening

Johnston’s Cranberry Marsh and Habitat for Humanity are inviting everyone to hit the Bala Skating Trail this week.
On Saturday, the 1.2 kilometre skating trail, which loops around the 12 acres of cranberry beds, will be open to the public.
Following a recent donation of gently used skates from a company in the GTA, Habitat for Humanity OGN has sold the bulk of these skates to Johnston’s.
The company will be renting out these skates to trail users and will be donating $1 from every rental back to Habitat for Humanity.
The trail will be open from 11:00am to 4:00pm every day until March, dependent on weather conditions.
