Local businesses that need summer help can start applying for funding. The Canada Summer Jobs program is now taking applications to provide federal funding to eligible companies. Not-for-profit organizations, public-sector employers, and small businesses with less than 50 employees can all apply.
The program is to help create summer jobs for full-time students aged 15 to 30-years-old. The deadline to apply is January 20th.
