Arrowhead Provincial Park Skating Trail is expected to open soon

A popular winter attraction in Muskoka is returning to Arrowhead Provincial Park this January.
Despite a bit of a setback due to the warmer rainy weather in late December, the Skating Trail at Arrowhead Park is nearing completion.
Park Superintendent Peter Briand says they are hoping to have the popular skating trail ready for skaters in the next few weeks.
Arrowhead staff is planning on continuing the Fire and Ice nights throughout January and February with the Tiki torch skate running from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
Once it is constructed, the 1.3 kilometre trail will be open daily at 11:00am dependent on weather conditions.

Below is a list of all Fire and Ice nights planned over the next few months:
  • Saturday, January 14th
  • Thursday, January 26th
  • Saturday, February 4th
  • Saturday, February 18th
  • Sunday, February 19th
  • Sunday, March 4th
  • Thursday, March 9th

All Fire and Ice event dates are dependent on weather conditions and the trail will be closed from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on these days for ice maintenance.
