Haliburton County will see hundreds of dogs heading into the region in 2017 and it’s all for Canada’s birthday.
Haliburton Forest is hosting the 2017 International Federation of Sleddog Sports Winter World Championships. They have partnered with the Canadian Association of Harness Dog Sports.
Organizers say there will be people here from 20 different countries, so over 40 volunteers are needed. The event is happening from January 24th, to February 1st.
