French Immersion students leaving Bracebridge today following cultural exchange

Bracebridge Mayor Graydon Smith helped welcome some French Immersion exchange students to our community this week. Yesterday he met with about 35 students from Polyvalente La Samare Public School, which is located in Quebec. At the Bracebridge Sportplex, Smith gave the students some mementos to remember Bracebridge by. They were part of a cultural exchange program with students at Monck Public School who had been visiting Bracebridge since May 28^th. They are to head back home today. Between January 26^th and February 3^rd, about 35 Monck students went to stay in Quebec, during their part of the exchange.
