Norm Miller re-elected as MPP for Parry Sound-Muskoka

Norm Miller has been re-elected as MPP for Parry sound-Muskoka. The current tally shows Miller clinched the win with 14,177 votes so far, Liberal candidate Dan Waters was second with 9,243 votes, Green Party candidate Matt Richter has 6750 and NDP candidate Clyde Mobbley has received 4,711 so far this evening. Miller is celebrating his win at Kirrie Glen Golf Course in Bracebridge. Our reporter Carly Verhoeven was able to speak with him shortly after his win was declared.

In Parry Sound, MooseFM reporter James King spoke with our NDP candidate Clyde Mobbley who garnered 12.9 percent of the local vote, shortly after Miller was declared the winner.

Provincially, we have another Liberal government, this time with a majority. With his party’s defeat, Tim Hudak announced he has stepped down as the leader of the Ontario PC Party.
