The Dorset Recreation Committee has received some funding to help with future projects.
Ontario Sport and Recreation Communities Funding provided $5,000 which will go towards yoga and Zumba classes.
The committee also received funding to upgrade the fitness room. In November there will be a request for proposals for the room’s flooring.
They are also working on fixing the building and property. A contractor will start shower renovation in mid-October. The committee is still coming up with ideas for the 2017 budget.
