OFA says Suggested natural gas pipeline would help meet needs in Muskoka

A new partnership is pushing for natural gas across rural Ontario, including Muskoka.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture has teamed up with the Eastern and Western Ontario Warden’s Caucus.
OFA President Don McCabe says they are asking the government to develop a public invested program to install new natural gas pipeline across rural Ontario.
McCabe thinks it will take 20 years to meet natural gas demands in our area.
He says rural natural gas would save Ontarians more than $1 billion annually in energy savings.
