Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka pairs high school students with elementary schools

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muskoka is reaching further into the community to provide mentors to kids who need it most.
The local organization has partnered with secondary schools in Muskoka to offer a new type of mentorship program.
High school students can now put their co-op hours towards mentoring an elementary school kid.
Beyond that, these co-op students will have an opportunity to learn more about the not-for-profit sector by spending time in the Big Brothers Big Sisters office as well.
Executive Director Rebecca Paul says this is a great way for both elementary and high school students to benefit in different ways.
