OPP in Almaguin Highlands are investigating a couple of boat and boat trailer thefts. Police say sometime between May 25th and June 1st someone stole a 16-foot Legend from an Almaguin Drive property in McMurrich-Monteith. It had a 60 horse power Evinrude four stroke engine. They also took a boat trailer and pressure washer.
Meantime, sometime between June 3rd and June 4th someone stole a 1986 boat trailer that belongs to Fowler Construction from their West Bay worksite. It’s white, with a single axel and lettering along the side of the trailer “95-91”. The trailer is valued at approximately $1,000. If you have any information call police or Crime Stoppers.
