There are two local schools receiving Parent Reaching Out grants from the Ontario government.
Officials say Pine Glen Public School in Huntsville has received $685 for its Parent Science Night while Gravenhurst Public School received $1,000 for its science night.
The government is providing over 2,300 grants to help parents get more involved in their children’s education.
Both grants to the local schools will help parents support their child’s learning in science education.
