Charges Laid after a Vehicle Catches Fire North of Dorset

A vehicle fire north of Dorset has resulted in a woman being charged.

Emergency crews from Algonquin Highlands and Haliburton Highlands were called to the blaze on the side of Highway 35 near Tock Lake on Tuesday morning. The fire was quickly extinguished and the vehicle was completely destroyed.

Police say the female driver was charged. No further details have been released.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
