Police in Parry Sound and Muskoka are sending out a warning to boaters this weekend.
If you drink alcohol or do drugs and drive a boat you are driving impaired and will be charged.
Officials say boaters are more likely to be strongly affected by alcohol due to the hot weather, motion and surrounding noise.
If you are caught under the influence while boating you will have your drivers licence suspended and could face a fine or jail time.
OPP will be out on the waterways in cottage country this long weekend.
