Rob Ford sightings continue in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst

The Toronto Star is reporting Rob Ford has been spotted in Bracebridge and Gravenhurst early this afternoon. The sightings are fueling rumours he may be a patient at a rehab centre in our region.

The article cites GreenStone, which is an addictions treatment centre, but a Ford connection to it has not been confirmed although the article says the Star has interviewed two people connected to patients who have said Ford is staying at the facility. Along with the article, the Star has posted several photos purported to be of Ford and his Escalade in the area. The Ford family’s cottage is known to be located in Muskoka.

The Star says a woman reported she had spoken to Ford around 1:30pm today outside the Bracebridge Bank of Montreal branch and that she had taken a photo of him. An employee at the nearby Pet Valu reportedly did the same. On top of this, an employee at the Gravenhurst Fabricare reportedly said Ford and a possible assistant came into the business around 2pm to drop off a navy blue suit which would be ready late next week. It’s been known Ford was seeking treatment, but until today, no one’s seen him.
