Local candidates try to win votes at the All Provincial Candidates Forum

Some candidates gave one local resident the answer she was looking for in accessibility, while others missed their mark. Yesterday, PC candidate Norm Miller, Green Party’s Matt Richter, Liberal candidate Dan Waters, NDP’s Clyde Mobbley and Freedom Party candidate Andy Stivrins attended the All Provincial Candidates Forum in Huntsville.

During question period, Debbie Kirwin, Chair of the Huntsville Accessibility Advisory Committee, asked what each candidate would do personally to make sure Ontario was accessible by 2025. She says PC candidate Norm Miller was on the right track.

Kirwin says Richter and Mobbley didn’t quite answer her question.

Meantime, Huntsville residents now have more information on each provincial candidate’s platform. But, was there a clear winner of the debate? Here’s what some of you thought.
