The fire hazard rating in Algonquin Park has dropped to moderate.
This announcement comes after park officials had the rating at extreme on Monday morning.
The heavy rain on Monday evening and the cooler temperatures on Tuesday caused it to drop back to moderate.
With this rating, all visitors are allowed to carry out forest activities with caution.
Temperatures are expected to hike back up for the remainder of the week. Park officials cannot confirm if the rating will change like it did earlier this week.
