Construction to start on new home for Habitat for Humanity Muskoka

Habitat for Humanity Muskoka says plans are underway to start construction on a semi-detached home in Gravenhurst. Applications are now being accepted for people who would like to live in the home. For those interested you’re being told to hurry as the deadline for applications is May 16^th. Habitat builds simple, decent, affordable homes with partner families and then sells the house to them with a no interest mortgage that is geared to income. There is also an information session for people interested in getting involved with the building process. That’s happening tomorrow in Gravenhurst at 7pm at St. Paul’s church.
