The Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Department says the no daytime burning rule is now in effect.
Officials say as of April 1st, there is no burning allowed during the day. Controlled fires are only allowed after 6:00pm. The current Fire Danger Rating is set at low. Fire crews say these conditions are being monitored and they will be updated once weather conditions change.
The bylaw is in effect until October 31st.
